Case Study - Kidd Insurances
As one of Ireland's leading insurance brokers, the brief was simple.
Develop the corporate brand for all the different products Kidd Insurances provide, such as Financial, Childcare, Retail, Household etc. While maintaining the use of the 'K'.
Position Kidd Insurances alongside the other well established insurance groups operating in Ireland.
The first design objective was to develop a distinct name style.
Using a classic typeface, Friz Quadrata as a baseline for KIDD
Separating the letters to give them more space and individuality
Extending the letters to add dynamism.
Simplifying the style to give it its distinctiveness.
Adding in a 'K" icon and colour to finish the development and end up with the logo.
Developing the stationary suite is an important part of the process.
Rolling it out into other uses such as shop fronts.
